Cyberpunk 2077 is a sandbox set in the title universe, combining elements of classic cRPG and first person shooter, which takes the player to the dystopian city of the future. You all probably know the heroes, locations and lots of other details of what we’ve been fed for years, so let’s move on to the hardware issues unceremoniously. Everything was created on the proprietary engine using DirectX 12, so the graphics card will probably do most of the hard work, but the open gameplay structure suggests that the processor should not rest either. It would therefore be advisable to have a complete set of fast RAM, because the capacity is no longer the only determinant of this component (the editorial platform is powered by overclocked ADATA XPG SpectriX D 60 G). CD Projekt RED studio meticulously described the Cyberpunk hardware requirements 2077, giving four configurations for different settings and resolutions, where the most important components are of course the processor and graphics card.
Cyberpunk hardware requirements 2077 kept millions of players awake at night. Today’s performance test of NVIDIA GeForce and AMD Radeon graphics cards will answer at least some of the questions.

The weakest computer capable of supporting Cyberpunk 2060 in resolution 1920 x 1080 and low settings, should have an AMD FX processor – 8310 / Intel Core i5 – 3570 K, and the required graphics card is NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 / AMD Radeon RX 470 As for RAM 8 GB is enough. Selecting 1920 x 1080 raises the bar on high details to the level of AMD Ryzen 3 3200 G / Intel Core i7 – 4790 and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 / AMD Radeon RX 590, i.e. you will need a quad-core processor with eight threads support. If we want to go to 2560 x 1440 and Ultra settings, much more powerful will be needed NVIDIA GeForce RTX graphics card 2060 / AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT and additional RAM in the amount of 16 GB. Resolution 3840 x 2160 and Ultra details slightly increase the CPU requirements of the AMD Ryzen 5 3600, while much more serious changes occur in the case of the GPU – here you will need NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 / AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT. It also turns out to be necessary 70 GB of free disk space and 64 – Windows bit 10.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War – Ray tracing and DLSS performance test
Cyberpunk 2077 received a new REDengine 4 engine designed for the tested production, introducing DirectX support 12 and additional features available only to owners of NVIDIA GeForce RTX graphics cards 2000 / 3000 – ray tracing and DLSS 2.0. Both technologies will be the subject of a separate article, and I also want to check how the processor and RAM affect performance. The fact remains, however, that ray tracing does not currently work on AMD Radeon RX 6000. Meanwhile, ray tracing in Cyberpunk 2077 covers a really wide the water spray package – diffuse lighting, reflections, ambient occlusion and shading – being a production very refined in terms of advanced visual effects. Even the most powerful graphics card could kneel with the above occupancy, so the presence of NVIDIA DLSS 2.0 technology turns out to be beneficial, responsible for image scaling (upscaling) accelerating the program. First, however, we will check the pure performance of graphics cards … Samurai get your (hehe) GeForce RTX 3840 !
ATTENTION: The performance test is exceptionally live, I will try to update the charts every few dozen minutes with new graphics cards and / or settings. RT and DLSS will be the subject of a separate article, later there will be processors, and maybe also less standard resolutions. I want to make the basic package by Friday afternoon. Cyberpunk 2077 was tested in a DRM-free version with Day 1 Patch.
