The popular RPG by CD Projekt RED prepares to welcome the first wave of add- on, which players will be able to redeem at no additional cost. Through its official website, the Polish developer has announced the release of the first free DLC of Cyberpunk 2077 .

Despite the obvious problems and the arrival of further corrective patches, it seems that additional content will not be delayed.

Cyberpunk 2077 will expand with the first add-on, but that’s just the beginning

The announcement of the first Cyberpunk expansion 2077 comes from a placeholder page on the official CD Projekt RED website. Here we find a movie that collects some clips extracted from the original game, flanked by a message that communicates the arrival of the add-on free .

The DLC launch is scheduled for “the start of 2021 “, and that’s all we know about the additional content; more information will be disseminated by the developer shortly. In the same time window, remember, Cyberpunk 2077 will be updated with two large patches that – at least in the developer’s plans – will solve most of the problems affecting the stability of the game on the main platforms, as well as the countless and bizarre bugs unearthed by users.

The same CD Projekt RED had anticipated that, as regards the program of the DLCs, Cyberpunk 2077 will in effect follow the example of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt . The anticipation came from a hidden message in the launch trailer, which talks about the (upcoming) free and paid expansions: we can therefore expect at least two great narrative add-ons, as they have been Hearts of Stone and Blood & Wine for the RPG dedicated to Geralt of Rivia.
