Today Cyberpunk 2017 was finally opened to the broader public after several postponements. Just a few hours after being unlocked on Steam, the single-player RPG is already breaking all records. As the first single-player game ever, the title can have over a million active players at the same time – and only three hours after it was released.

Only three other games achieved a higher number of simultaneously active players: The battle royale shooter PUBG with 3, 25 million active players, CS: GO with 1.3 million players and DOTA 2 with about 1, 29 Millions of active games. In the single player category, however, no other game comes close to Cyberpunk 2077.

Despite the high numbers on Steam, there is not much that can be said about how well the game has really sold. In addition to Steam, Cyberpunk 2077 was also sold by GoG and the Epic Games Store, there are currently no reliable figures here. However, one can assume that the game is already a great success.

Cyberpunk 2017 was also released for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and the Xbox Series . Both NVIDIA and AMD released new drivers for their own graphics cards in the course of the release of Cyberpunk 2077.
