DeepCool launches the CPU air cooler AS500 & AS500 PLUS

The manufacturer DeepCool now presents with the AS 500 and the AS 500 PLUS two new CPU coolers. Said coolers have five 6 mm heat pipes in a single tower design. The AS 500 also has a DeepCool TF 140 S-PWM fan (140 mm) with a fluid dynamic bearing and a speed setting between 500 and 1. 200 RPM. According to the manufacturer, the cooler is suitable for processors with a TDP of 220 W. The noise development is with 24 dB (A) specified. The AS 500 PLUS contains two TF 120 S fan in a push-pull configuration .

With a heat sink depth of 48 mm, DeepCool guarantees, according to its own information, universal compatibility with every RAM module height. The new coolers are overall 164 mm high and have a total width of 142 mm . The black top cover also has a 5V A RGB LED strip on the bottom. Said RGB lighting can be synchronized via a corresponding mainboard RGB software. Alternatively, the supplied wired controller can be used for control. The air flow rate is 120, 3 m³ / h.

Both DeepCool coolers are equipped with Intel’s LGA 2066 or 2011 – v3 and 2011, 1200, 1151, 1150 and 1155 compatible. If you have a processor from Team Red with the AS 500 or AS 500 PLUS needs either a board with an AM4 or a AM3 +, AM3, AM2 +, AM2, FM2 +, FM2 or with an FM1.

The recommended retail price of the AS 500 is with scarce 60 Euro indicated. For the AS 500 PLUS a surcharge of 10 Euro due. Both models are from 20. October 2020 available in stores.
