The good development of the first nine months means that Deutsche Telekom has increased its forecast for the current financial year significantly. For 2020 an adjusted operating result before interest, taxes and depreciation after leasing costs (adjusted Ebitda AL) of at least 35 billion euros instead of around 34 billion euros will be reached.

The forecast increase was driven by the quarterly results of the subsidiary T-Mobile US. Telekom emphasizes, however, that the rest of the group also has a higher adjusted Ebitda AL for the full year of around 14, expected 0 billion euros, despite the burden of the coronavirus pandemic.
