Do you love me? Boston Dynamics makes the robots dance
Source: Heise.de added 30th Dec 2020Two Atlas robots, the four-legged “robot dog” Spot and the parcel robot Handle from the robotics company Boston Dynamics put a snappy sole on the floor. To “Do you love me” by “The Contours” the robots seem to want to dance away the bad year due to the Corona.
This shows that the approximately 1.5 meter tall and 30 kilogram walking robot Atlas is much more fluid and less choppy can act than in previous videos. The choreography between the different robot models also works well, but it probably took several attempts.

That a Boston Dynamics robot has a snappy sole or in the case paw on the parquet, the “robot dog” spot had already proven 2018. At that time the 30 kilogram heavy four-legged friend danced to “Uptown Funk”.
Even “robot dogs” can dance.
Boston Dynamics has been owned since December 2020 mainly owned by the South Korean automobile manufacturer Hyundai. Hyundai bought 80 percent of the robotics company from Japanese telecommunications and media company Softbank for approximately $ 1.1 billion.
