Dying Light 2 – Techland calms you down and reminds you that the game is still in development, although already six months ago it was “on the home straight”
Source: Pure PC added 04th Jan 2021Gamescom 2019 has provided us with a lot of intriguing information, including that the upcoming Game Dying Light 2 will receive real-time ray tracing. At the end of August 2019 we also received 30 – a minute-long gameplay from the production, showing ray tracing in practice. Unfortunately, the beginning of last year did not bring good news – Techland announced that the game was delayed for an unspecified date, and there were rumors on the web that the developer was going through great difficulties. A column appeared on the Polski Gamedev website, in which the author quoted the devastated developers working on the game. According to their words, the studio was going to be disorganized and no one really knew what direction the game was going, let alone when its premiere could be expected.
On the occasion of the new Last year, Dying Light 2’s twitter account featured a greeting post with the assurance that in 2021 we will get a fresh dose of details about the game. Will Techland finally get … ah … a corpse out of the closet this year?

Wroclaw studio quickly denied the above rumors, additionally assuring that work on Dying Light 2 is nearing completion. These assurances took place exactly six months ago. So it’s no surprise that fans of this universe are a bit concerned. On the occasion of the new year, however, there is a post on Dying Light 2’s official twitter account with a brief greeting that in 2021 we will get a new dose of details about the game. One would like to write that the tweet rekindled hopes in the players, although … in me personally, I don’t think so … Why?

Ray tracing in Modern Warfare, Minecraft, Synced and Dying Light 2
Dying Light 2 was supposed to be released last spring. However, just like Cyberpunk 2077, it gets more shifts. Techland’s work is not as much anticipated as CD Projekt RED, but it has a chance to become an equally engaging production. The problem is that waiting definitely weakens the “snooze” for the game. The title, when it is created, will take us to an open, post-apocalyptic world, and also events 15 years after the story from the first Dying Light. As the creators assure, the game will be even more extensive, diverse, and its plot – depending on our choices.
