The team behind the Xbox Game Pass has announced that EA Play, EA’s game subscription service, will not be integrated with Game Pass for PC until 2021 , thus delaying this collaboration that was expected to materialize at some point this December of 2020.

As we can read on the company’s blog dedicated to news related to Xbox and its services, something to which the Game Pass belongs, Microsoft has made the decision to delay this collaboration between both services, without giving details regarding what could have happened that led to a delay of these characteristics.

However, there is talk that the team needs more time. po to provide “the Xbox Game Pass experience” to all its users, so hopefully there will be some details of the service that they want to fine-tune before it reaches the public, ensuring compatibility with current software and making the necessary changes if required.

EA Play is now available for owners of an Xbox One or Xbox Series S / X, so if we have one of these consoles we don’t have to worry about the collaboration between EA and Microsoft.
