Epomaker EP75 Triple Mode Wireless Mechanical Keyboard Review
Source: Tech Power Up added 13th Jan 2023Introduction
This time two years ago was when Epomaker had first reached out to me about reviewing its GK96LS keyboard and that led to over a dozen different Epomaker products covered on TechPowerUp in the time since. While I was mostly satisfied by the hardware used in the keyboards in addition to the switch quality itself, I wanted to see Epomaker improve upon its software offering as well as do more 1st-party R&D into developing its own switches and keycap designs. Turns out the Chinese peripheral brand had been working hard on just this. I have here six different Epomaker keyboards that each seem to have their own different use cases and I decided to start with the new Epomaker EP75.
As the name suggests, the Epomaker EP75 is a 75% form factor keyboard that is weirdly getting extremely popular in the last few months, even overtaking 60 and 65% keyboards. Perhaps it’s to do with this version being as close to a TKL set as you can get while still getting reasonable size savings on your desk and perhaps it’s also due to the extra row now allowing for ample room on the top right corner for a volume knob, which is all the rage now. The Epomaker EP75 does not have a volume wheel but instead gives you an extra key there on top of accent side lighting, triple connectivity modes, and finally brand new software drivers! Let’s thank Epomaker for providing a review sample to TechPowerUp as we examine the EP75 in this article which begins with a look at the product specifications in the table below.
