Introduction

Founded in 2009, Fantech is a gaming peripheral company based in Indonesia. Being the follow-up to 2022’s Aria XD7, the right-handed ergonomic Aria II is released in two distinct variants. The regular Aria II is restricted to USB full-speed and therefore 1000 Hz, and unlike with the Helios II Pro, there is no upgrade path by purchasing a 4K or 8K wireless dongle. The Aria II Pro, on the other hand, already comes with an 8K dongle, and offers polling rates of up to 8000 Hz in wireless operation. Both are equipped with PixArt’s PAW3395 sensor capable of 26,000 CPI, along with Huano switches of the blue transparent shell, pink plunger variety for the main buttons. For the Aria II, Fantech advertises up to 70 hours of battery life at 125 Hz, and both 2.4 GHz wireless and Bluetooth are supported. At 53 g, the Aria II weighs 7 g less than its predecessor, and still does without any holes or an open-bottom design. The feet are made of pure PTFE, and two sets of replacement feet along with a set of grip tape are included with the mouse. Configuration is done in the software, which has all the usual options. The Aria II is available in black, white, or red.
