Epic Games has certainly not stopped with the digs aimed at the new rival Apple. The latest move by the Fortnite developer sees the direct participation of Samsung and the indirect participation of influencers: a #FreeFortnite themed gift pack, with a jacket and a Galaxy S7 tablet.

Apple Fortnite Epic Samsung
It has been a while since there was talk of the incessant war between Apple and Epic Games . The two titans clashed months ago on the battlefield of Fortnite , game removed from the App Store after violating the strict rules of the Apple marketplace. Hence the promotional campaign # FreeFortnite was born, an initiative that saw the inauguration of a tournament and others initiatives with which Epic has managed to curry favor with the (numerous) players.
The new goal of the developer is the influences r, those related to the videogame world, who have just received a special #FreeFortnite-themed Christmas gift.
# FreeFortnite: Epic Games and Samsung join forces
On the occasion of the Christmas holidays, some personalities particularly known to the players received at home a gift box signed by Epic Games . The packaging recalls the minimal style typical of Apple product packaging, but instead of a possible MacBook we find a sentence, which in this case sounds almost like a threat: “Free Fortnite” .

As reported by Greg Miller, former editor of IGN US and co-founder of Kinda Funny, the package sent by Epic contains a brand new tablet – a Samsung Galaxy S7 – and a jacket that sports the #FreeFortnite logo, complete with a rainbow.
We are not surprised by the involvement of Samsung , after all we are talking about Apple’s rival for that that concerns the mobile market, but there is more: the South Korean giant has made available its Galaxy Store for the free Fortnite download. With the removal of the game from the Google Play Store, users can still rely on Samsung to be able to install and update Epic Games’ battle royale, without worrying about further bans.
by the way, the aforementioned package also contains a letter signed by Epic itself, with an invitation addressed to the influencers: “To celebrate, we have partnered with Samsung to send you a special package containing #FreeFortnite goodies. Although Fortnite is not currently available on the App Store or Google Play, you can still get the latest Fortnite updates directly from the Epic Games app on the Galaxy Store. Spread the word “.
In short, after the Nineteen Eight-Fortnite trailer and Free Fortnite Cup comes Epic Games’ latest bold move. How will Apple respond? It will probably remain silent this time as well, awaiting the next confrontation in court.
