France imposes millionaire fines on Goolge and Amazon for not complying with the legislation on Cookies

The fine for Google amounts to 100 million euros, while Amazon will have to pay 35 million euros . In addition to these fines, if companies continue with their attitude they will face new sanctions.
The specific offense, according to the French administration in charge of monitoring digital activities (CNIL), was l to the introduction, automatically, of cookies on the devices of users who accessed the Google and Amazon websites to collect data for advertising purposes, all without the user’s consent, something which specifies French and European law.
