A hot topic in the Hardwareluxx community is currently clearly their availability, because the great interest in the new player graphics cards, but of course the ongoing worldwide corona pandemic, ensure a low supply and high prices. While a street price of around 500 euros was actually targeted for the cheapest models for the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070, you now have to go well over 600 Put euros on the virtual counter – if you are lucky and a model is actually available, of course.

For this reason, he has started a small project for the community in which numerous online shops and their APIs are automatically checked for the availability of new RTX and RX graphics cards. If there is sufficient storage capacity, this will be communicated immediately in a corresponding forum post so that interested users can strike.

Another little tip from the developer: Since many shops deliver their article pages cached in order to save traffic and accelerate the delivery of the website, it can happen that the shop API already marks a certain article as “available”, but the shop still marks this in the fronted as “not available” or “not available” and an order is not (yet) possible. In some shops this can sometimes take up to 40 minutes until the article pages are updated.
