Introduction
Thank you to FSP for providing the review sample!
FSP has been around for ages, with the company being founded in 1993. From their humble beginnings where they helped develop the ATX form factor for PSUs alongside Intel, they have since grown to be a major manufacturer of not only power supplies for numerous electronics but also CPU coolers, cases and case fans. While they lack the market presence of some of their competitors, this has begun to change as FSP continues to grow and evolve thanks in part its reputation for excellence.
The CPU cooler being reviewed today is the FSP MP7 Black. This dual-fan dual-tower air cooler has a lower height profile of 153 mm while also using an offset design to improve not only case compatibility but memory clearance as well. It’s all black design, while simple, looks elegant and the lack of ARGB LEDs will likely prove a boon for those tired of the illuminate everything craze. Add in an affordable price point and it certainly could be an attractive option, but before we get to that, let’s take a closer look!
