Cyberpunk 2077 is not the only Polish RPG game in a cyberpunk atmosphere, that looms on the horizon. Many people announced that the production of CD Projekt RED studio would be postponed once again, this time to 2021 year, but it was finally decided that after numerous overtime hours and a long working week, it will be possible to meet the set for 19 November 2020 year release date. In the event of a downturn, we were to get a consolation in the near future a smaller, isometric RPG – Gamedec, also from a Polish developer. It will not happen. Not only because Cyberpunk 2077 is coming out on schedule, but also because Anshar Studios’ release has been delayed. The Poles are going to take into account the critical voices of players and spend additional months improving the quality of Gamedec.

Gamedec, an isometric cyberpunk RPG from the Polish Anshar Studios, has had a big slide. The premiere of the game will take place in 2021 – we know the reasons for this decision.

Gamedec – Poles are preparing another cyberpunk cRPG

The year 2020 is unquestionably a year of delays. Footwear affects both large AAA productions and independent games like Gamedec. A detective RPG in a science fiction atmosphere, based on a novel by Marcin Przybyłek and compared to Disco Elysium, was to debut before the end 2020 of the year, but Anshar studio decided to postpone the premiere for an unspecified period 2021 of the year. So we are talking about a slide lasting several months. What is the reason for this decision? The beta version went to players who financially supported the creators on the Kickstarter platform two months ago, and a demo was also made available recently and the producer decided to take into account critical opinions, draw conclusions from them and improve those components of Gamedec in which he sees room for improvement.

Cyberpunk RPG from Anshar Studios is based on dialogues, interactions with NPCs and choices that will not only translate into the gameplay, but also as NPCs perceive us. So the dialogues (and their translations, also into Polish) and locations are constantly being tweaked (although the action will take place in Warsaw City in the XXII century, in the game we will be able to move to virtual worlds like an ordinary farm or a land straight from the HP novel) Lovecraft). The gameplay with far-reaching consequences is extremely complex and also requires some refinement. Initially, Gamedec will only debut on PC, but Anshar Studios is also planning console versions, including Nintendo Switch. However, the developers do not promise to release the game on all target hardware platforms at the same time.
