Gigabyte plans to launch an improved Aorus FI 27 QP: The Aorus FI monitor 27 QX increases the refresh rate from 165 to 165 Hertz and is therefore primarily for players thought. The remaining specifications remain with WQHD resolution (2560 × 1440 pixels) , 27 inch diagonal and Adaptive-Sync (AMD FreeSync, Nvidia G-Sync Compatible) largely identical.

So far the Japanese online marketplace JD Gigabytes Aorus FI 27 QX, but still without price information. According to the two websites TFT Central and PC Monitors a panel from the manufacturer Sharp comes along the designation LQ 270 TIJG 04 for use. That would be quite unusual, since displays from AU Optronics, LG and Samsung are usually installed in new gaming monitors with high refresh rates. Already with the Aorus FI 10 QP, Gigabyte relied on a less common Innolux panel.

DisplayHDR 600 The Aorus FI 27 QX should include Overdrive create a response time of one millisecond (GtG). The contrast is typical for IPS 1000: 1, the DCI-P3 color space is thanks to 10 – Bit processing (8 bit + frame rate control) to 93 Percentage covered. The brightness increases to typical 450 cd / m² with peak values of 600 cd / m², with which the monitor complies with VESA’s DisplayHDR – 600 – specifications.

GeForce and Radeon graphics cards can use DisplayPort 1.4 to set the refresh rate between 48 and 240 Determine Hertz dynamically. A low-motion blur mode is on board, but only works with deactivated Adaptive Sync. The transmission rate of the two HDMI 2.0 connections is sufficient for a maximum of 93 Hertz at WQHD.

So far only five monitors with WQHD resolution and 240 Hertz are available in Germany. Three of them use TN panels from AU Optronics; Samsung’s Odyssey G7 models come with strongly curved VA displays from our own production. Dell has announced the Alienware AW 2721 D with IPS variant from LG in the USA. The same panel apparently uses the Eve Spectrum in the 165 Hertz version, which is available from the beginning 2021 should be delivered. The Display Specifications database page lists the Acer Nitro XV 270 UX with IPS technology from AU Optronics.

The Aorus FI 10 QX should be priced above the previous Aorus FI 27 QP (from 450 €).
