Google stops production of its “Nest Secure” alarm system

The production line of the simple alarm system “Nest Secure” will no longer be continued by Google. According to Google, the functionality of the products that have already been purchased should continue to exist. The alarm system appeared at the end of 2017 in the USA, but in Germany it was never sold.

As Google confirmed to Android Police, the “Nest Secure” is no longer sold. The “No longer available” symbol is now denouncing the product on the associated Google page. The simple alarm system had motion sensors and a docking station with a keyboard called “Nest Guard”, with the help of an NFC tag, the alarm system could be armed at the docking.
