The Actioncam Insta 360 One X2 has two extremely wide-angled lenses that provide a panoramic view. It is also weatherproof and stabilizes the image.

The action cam manufacturer Insta 306 raises its One-X series in the second edition to the level of the GoPro Max. The Insta 360 One X2 records videos in 5.7K resolution (5760 × like the GoPro only 30 Frames per second. In 4K resolution they are 49, in 3K even 100 Frames per second. For moving pictures you should choose a resolution lower than the maximum.

It records photos like the previous model Insta 360 One X and the GoPro Max with a total of 18 Megapixels (6080 × 3040 Pixels). Remain stitched to a 306 – degree image 16, 6 megapixels left. The X2 videos can either be viewed like a conventional video, then you have to select a section beforehand, or as 360 – Degree video, for example in a VR headset. At first glance, the Insta 360 One X2 hardly from the previous model. The camera has one lens on the front and one on the back with a fish-eye angle of over 180 Degree. The replaceable battery and a slot for a microSD card are hidden behind a side flap. The predecessor still had a micro USB port. There is now a USB-C socket on the side. Instead of two buttons as before, the new one only has one on the front. The space gained is taken up by a larger display. The scope of delivery includes a charging cable, a battery and a transport bag. Optionally there is a protective cap for the lenses, a diving case and a selfie stick. So far only the latter is available.
