The operators of the PHP.RUHR conference and heise Developer have again entered into a partnership. The Heise Medien online channel was already involved in the concept of the multi-day PHP.RUHR conference last year. Developers can now benefit again from this collaboration. Because the result is a combination offer for participation in this year’s special edition of Bits & Currywurst on November 5th as well as in the betterCode () PHP 8 on 26. November 2020.

This year, the multi-day PHP event will not take place in the Signal Iduna Arena in Dortmund as usual. Instead, the operators are organizing a hybrid edition of the networking event “Bits & Currywurst”, which has always followed the developer conference in the evening. Hybrid means in this context that there is a limited number of tickets (for 100 euros excluding VAT) for the event on site in the Warsteiner Music Hall.

The main topics of the event starting at 15 o’clock include Data Driven Commerce and the Impact of Financial Technology on E-Commerce. “On Top” this year there is a panel discussion by and with the blogger and journalist Sascha Lobo.

In cooperation with the experts from thePHP.cc heise Developer has put together a program that provides interested parties with information about the new features of PHP 8 and the current state of development should.
