After the program of the seventh edition of the Javaland Conference has recently been published online, ticket sales for those from 16. to 18. March 2021 first hybrid Java community event. The new concept gives interested participants the free choice to be there in Phantasialand near Brühl or to connect to JavaLand online from the office or from home. If you are undecided, you can also book an upgrade ticket, which can be subsequently topped up for attending the on-site conference – however, the spaces on the grounds in Phantasialand are limited.

Full program: online and on site The main conference with well over a hundred lectures will take place on 16. and 17. March, for on-site participants closes on 18. March a training day. In the program planner, you can filter which speakers and sessions can be expected in Brühl and which will be switched on remotely – because the speakers were also allowed to choose whether they would travel to the conference site or contribute their lecture online. All program contributions on site will also be streamed. After the Javaland conference, all participants have the opportunity to view the recordings of all lectures.

As usual from previous years, the program is reversed all important innovations in Java and Jakarta EE – and beyond the official Java standards. Trend topics such as microservices, containerization, machine learning or the connection to JavaScript, for example, are not neglected. Among the firmly scheduled speakers are familiar faces such as Sandra Parsick, Sven Peters, Ed Burns, Ivar Grimstad, Ray Tsang, Adam Bien and Simon Ritter.

Now tickets for Secure early bird tariff The ticket shop for the hybrid conference Javaland 2021 is now open. The early bird conditions apply until February 4th 2021: an online 2-day ticket costs until then 320 euros instead of 420 euros (plus 19% VAT). A 2-day ticket for the limited places in Phantasialand is available for the time being with 200 euro discount for 690 Euro (plus 19% VAT). Further information can be found on the conference website.

The JavaLand is one of the German Oracle User Community (DOAG) and heise Developer in cooperation with iJUG, the association of German-speaking Java User Groups, organized a community conference for Java developers.
