Rancher is a platform that aims to simplify the management of Kubernetes clusters. The two-day iX online course Managing Containers with Kubernetes & Rancher teaches admins in many practical exercises how to set up a container environment with Kubernetes and the Rancher tools. You will learn to install the software in a cluster, start container workloads in different ways, set up storage and network and use Helm charts.

The operation and administration of the cluster are not neglected either – from the upgrade to backup and restore. You will learn how to set up adequate monitoring and create a CI / CD environment for the automated deployment of applications in the cluster.

The course is on 15 limited participants in order to ensure intensive support and exchange between the speaker and the participants. Participants should have a basic understanding of containers and be able to use the Linux command line safely.
