With online piano learning services, even beginners can learn to play their first melodies in just a few minutes. But can the services replace a real teacher?

This is where the online services Skoove, Music2Me and Flowkey come in. This allows piano beginners and amateur pianists to practice at any time of the day or night and at a comparatively manageable cost.

Advanced pianists study new pieces from pop to rock to classical and jazz with the virtual piano teachers . Newcomers should be able to learn their first piano melodies quickly with the services. Music2Me, Skoove and Flowkey partly use different teaching concepts. While one service transmits its knowledge through pure video lessons, the other listens to the pianist’s playing and actively reacts to it.

If you are really serious about learning the instrument, it quickly becomes clear: Learning the piano is much more than “just” playing with the black and white keys. Correct posture and correct finger technique are at least as important. In the worst case, there is a risk of tension and pain if you exercise in the wrong posture – an important point that all services should take into account. And the footwork with the three pedals of a piano should also be taught – the simultaneous coordination of hands and feet in time with the music is a lot more difficult than if you only have to concentrate on the hands.
