Introduction

Hitscan is a gaming peripheral company based in the US. Hitscan is a new name in the gaming peripheral market, and the ambidextrous Hyperlight is their first release. At 40 g, the Hyperlight is exceptionally light, while still maintaining a mostly solid shell aside from the open bottom. PixArt’s PAW3395 sensor capable of 26,000 CPI is used, along with Omron D2FP-FN2 optical switches for the main buttons. Hitscan promises up to 75 hours of battery life, presumably at 1000 Hz. With the included wireless dongle, the Hyperlight is limited to 1000 Hz, but by pairing it with the separately available 8K Wireless Dongle, polling rates of up to 8000 Hz can be enabled. By default, the Hyperlight comes without feet, which is how the advertised weight of 39 g is achieved, but two sets of pure PTFE feet (a smaller and a larger one) are included in the box, and may be installed according to preference. The usual customization options are found in the software. The Hyperlight is available either in black or white.
