In August, notebook sales in e-commerce increased by more than 37, 2% compared to the same period last year, which of course did not go unnoticed by computer hardware manufacturers. One of them is HyperX, which has just presented new DDR4 RAM modules of the SO-DIMM type. The American brand has expanded the Impact series with new capacities.

HyperX is a Kingston brand that focuses on the RAM memory and gaming peripherals market. The Americans have just announced the expansion of the DDR4 SO-DIMM series of RAM modules for laptops and Small Form Factor computers. HyperX Impact with black laminate has been enriched with modules with a capacity 16 GB, and thus also sets with total capacity 32 GB. As a reminder, so far there have been much smaller offers using modules with a capacity of 4 or 8 GB.

The consumer can choose from models with clock speeds from 2400 MHz to 3200 MHz and latency from CL 15 to CL 20. Although the specification does not look stunning, all of them work with the standard voltage of 1.2 V. Which will have a positive effect on both the working time of the laptop and will contribute to compatibility with a larger pool of computers and motherboards. The new models from the HyperX Impact series are already available in the first Polish stores, and the price depends on the selected parameters. For example, a single module 16 GB 2400 MHz CL 14 is an expense of a row 309 zlotys, and a set of 2x 16 GB 2400 MHz CL 14 this 608 zlotys.
