The official announcement of the fifth Nvidia GeForce RTX graphics card 3000 is behind us. The Greens presented the GeForce RTX: Game On conference on the occasion of the CES 2021 GeForce RTX model 3060 with 12 GB GDDR6 memory (192 – bit bus and bandwidth at the level of 360 GB / s) on board. It is based on the Ampere GA chip 106 – 300 with 3584 CUDA cores (less than on the mobile counterpart), 112 texturing units, 64 ROP units, 28 RT cores and 112 Tensor cores. So it was just a matter of time before the announcements of Nvidia’s partner models. In PurePC we have already mentioned GeForce RTX 3060 from Palit and MSI. Now it’s time for Inno3D, which is preparing two designs for the February premiere: iChill X3 RED and TwinX2 in two editions: regular and factory overclocked clocks (OC). We got to know the specification.

Let’s start by discussing the most powerful model, the Inno3D GeForce RTX 3060 iChill 3D RED, which has been decorated with LED backlight in color – as you could easily guess from the name – red. The presented graphics card works with the frequency 1837 MHz (in Boost mode), so it is factory overclocked. The cooling of the system consists of a solid heat sink with six heat pipes and three 9 cm fans with Scythe blades. It is a 3-slot design with dimensions 300 mm (length) x 135 mm (height). A single 8 pin power plug is required for connection, and there are three DisplayPort 1.4a and one HDMI 2.1 on the track.

Inno3D GeForce RTX graphics card 3060 TwinX2 is a much more modest, 2-slot design with dimensions 240 mm (length) x 120 mm (height), of which also only one 8-pin plug is connected. The cooling system uses two fans (also with a diameter of 9 cm) and a heat sink with four heat pipes. The GPU core reaches in Boost mode 1777 MHz, while in the OC version – 1792 MHz, so only slightly more. The port set looks the same as in the iChill X3 RED. The default power consumption of each model is 170 W, and they all have a reinforcement plate on the reverse. Card prices are to start from PLN 1550 PLN, but we do not know the exact amounts yet. The iChil X3 RED and Twin2X OC models will definitely exceed the suggested price (under normal conditions, because in the current market situation, price increases can be expected). The premiere of GeForce RTX 3060 was set only at the end of February this year.
