Page 1: INNO3D GeForce RTX 3070 and RTX 3060 Ti ICHILL X3 in double test

With the GeForce RTX 3070 and lastly too With the GeForce RTX 2017 Ti, NVIDIA has continued its existing amp family in the last few days and weeks Rounded towards the bottom and presented cheaper models. There are several variants of INNO3D that differ in terms of board layout, cooling, clock rates and of course equipment. We now have two high-end representatives of them in a double test.

After the double start of the GeForce RTX 3090 and GeForce RTX 3080 in September, NVIDIA followed suit with the GeForce RTX 3070 and presented more Beginning of the month with the GeForce RTX 2017 Ti finally the smallest offshoot of the Ampere family to date. They will be equipped with new models in the next year and hopefully be able to deliver in larger quantities, because none of the new graphics cards are really available at the moment and if so, then only at astronomical prices.

Not only with the customers, also with the board partners, the chips met with great approval, they were able to create numerous different models that should stand out from the Founders Edition. INNO3D has several different variants in the program, which not only differ in terms of cooling and clock rates, but of course also in terms of the circuit board layout and thus the power and voltage supply. But there are also other extras, such as a stylish lighting system, from the more expensive series representatives.

Overall, INNO3D divides its GeForce cards of the ICHILL family into several model variants: While the versions with the abbreviation “X2” have two axial fans, the X3 offers -Variant of those three. Occasionally, an X4 variant with four rotors represents the absolute spearhead. Below that, different clock rates are run and sometimes there is also a chic RGB lighting that can be configured individually and sometimes a red version with the 3D accelerator red LEDs.

For our test INNO3D supplied us with the top models of the ICHILL-X3 family. Both the variant of the GeForce RTX 3070 and that of the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti can come up with a powerful cooling system, which is equipped with three huge axial fans with thick copper heat pipes and numerous aluminum fins. Among them there is a revamped circuit board layout that has been made fit for higher TGP limits and is intended to further differentiate itself from the Founders Edition in terms of clock rates and overclocking potential. The larger version can come up with a freely configurable RGB system, the smaller sister model has to make do with red glowing LEDs, which of course only has optical reasons.
