Imagination Technologies has announced that Innosilicon , a provider of custom ASIC-based solutions, will use their IMG B-Series GPUs to create new graphics cards for desktops and data centers , selecting the IMG BXT core thanks to its great scalability.

According to Imagination, these cores are capable of offering up to 70% higher density of computation than current desktop solutions , this would be, compared to AMD and NVIDIA, in addition to having the new technology Imagination multi-core , which allows more flexible control over d e the different cores in the SoC, as well as the multi-die packages, that is, chiplets.

Another feature of these IMG BXT cores are the multi-primary scaling of the core, allowing to combine the power of all GPU cores to obtain great performance in a single application , as well as to divide the different cores to work in different applications, as if they were separate graphics cards.

These cards will arrive on the basis of getting a graphics card from high performance for 4K and 8K gaming through a PCI Express Gen 4 bus , something that will also allow data centers to and the Gaming systems in the cloud also work properly.
