A big premiere from Intel is ahead of us. In a few months (or maybe even weeks?) We should get to know the latest Blue processors, which this time will be made with the help of a completely new Cypress Cove architecture. Although we will not part with lithography 14 nm yet, we can still quietly count on a noticeable increase in performance. The entire platform should bring a lot of good also in other aspects, because incl. for the first time it will guarantee full support for PCI-Express 4.0. All this thanks to the upcoming motherboards with Intel Z 590, B 560 and H 510, which – somewhat surprisingly – may already be presented in January, right after the New Year.

According to the source, the January premiere of motherboards will not be made in paper – right after the presentation, specific models are to reach the first customers. What about Rocket Lake-S processors? We will probably have to wait for them until March or February 2021.

Unofficial Intel Rocket Lake-S Processor Specs: Core i9 – 11900 K, Core i7 – 11700 K, Core i5 – 11600 K and Core i5 – 11400

As reported by the Chinese media, Intel already 11 January at the CES technology fair 2021 is to announce the entire range of new motherboards right away dedicated to Rocket Lake-S processors (Core 11, but they are also supposed to support Comet Lake-S (Core 10. Gen). – immediately after the presentation, specific mo dele are to go to the first customers. Motherboards Z 590, B 560 and H 510 will have LGA socket 1200 and it will probably be the last series of boards to support DDR4 memory.

Intel Rocket Lake – the manufacturer confirms the premiere of processors

This news somewhat contradicts previous reports of the parallel debut of Intel motherboards 500 and Core processors 11000. It was supposed to take place in March 2021, but it turns out that around this date we will only witness the premiere of Intel Rocket Lake-S ( there is also talk of a possible debut at the end of February). In any case, there is still some time left, and it is possible that nothing has finally been approved yet. Let us remember that these are only unconfirmed rumors so far, to which it is better to keep a distance. Nevertheless, we will be monitoring the matter and inform you as soon as we learn something new.
