The new iOS 14. 1 and iPadOS 12. 1 were released last night released to the public. The updates come with the new iPhone 11 – generation and should also be preinstalled there. IPhone users 10 and below can use the updates function in the settings of Get iOS.

In addition to some bug fixes, there are also new functions. Particularly interesting is the possibility that 10 – bit HDR videos in the “Photos” app can now be played back and edited from the iPhone 8.

The bug fixes cover many areas. For example, we fixed a bug that caused a few widgets, folders, and icons to be scaled down on the home screen. Also fixed was an issue where moving widgets would suddenly throw apps out of their folders. Furthermore, a bug has been fixed in the Mail app where some emails were sent from an incorrect alias. Furthermore, incoming calls should now always show regional information, which was often not the case before due to an error.

Furthermore a problem with the Apple Watch was fixed where it was sometimes not possible to configure the watch for a family member. In addition, connection problems with Ubiquiti routers have been resolved. Another fix is to address the issue where some MDM cloud service providers were incorrectly displaying content as unavailable in the Files app. New security updates should not be included. A complete list of the changes and further information is available from Apple.
