iRobot Roomba
If one volta Roomba was synonymous with robot vacuum cleaner, today on the market there are many proposals and the US brand iR obot, born to Colin Angle and other engineers at MIT in Boston, sees stiff competition. A brand that many would say to be very young, but which already has 30 of history on the shoulders, with 30 millions of robots sold .
The robot vacuum cleaner sector is constantly growing and also maturing, which interesting performances, even in our country, on the high end, where iRobot plays its best cards . In particular, the latest ace put on the table tries to best combine performance and functionality from top of the range with a more accessible price, presenting itself as the entry step of the high range.
iRobot Roomba i3 +: Clean Base within the reach of many
Let’s talk about iRobot Roomba i3 + , which enters gamma like the younger brother of the Roomba i7 +. It inherits part of the DNA, with the possibility of using the Clean Base Automatic Dirt Disposal , automatic emptying system of the robot vacuum cleaner, which allows up to 60 days of autonomy before having to throw the bag with cleaning residues in the bin. In addition, the sealed bag system allows for a more effective disposal of dust , compared to the classic emptying of the tank, which generally reintroduces part of the previously captured dust into the environment.
Also the cleaning system AeroForce three-stage is the same with double rubber brush (to avoid twisting of hair and hair) and the side brush for the corners.
Roomba i3 + cleans in a targeted and logical way, according to a linear and orderly path, which allows it to navigate in multiple rooms interior of the house, on any kind of floor and also on carpets or rugs. If the battery runs out, the device automatically returns to the charging base and, once regenerated, resumes cleaning from the point where it left off, until the job is complete. Compared to the older brother, there is no possibility to clean specific areas on command (for example under the kitchen table after lunch). Like the big brother, however, Roomba i3 + supports technology Imprint Link which allows him to work in tandem with a wet cleaner such as Braava Jet M6: the technology allows you to automatically switch first the vacuum cleaner and then the robot with the wet rag in sequence, for a more effective.
the new Roomba i3 + is naturally compatible with the latest version of the control app and can also be controlled via the voice commands of Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa.
The price positioning is definitely interesting: the Roomba i3 + robot vacuum cleaner will be available from mid-January on www.irobotstore.it with a retail price of 699 ?? , while the version without Clean Base at the price of 499 ??.
