LAMZU Maya Review

Introduction
LAMZU is a peripherals company based in China. Following the Atlantis, the Maya is LAMZU’s second ambidextrous design, albeit differently balanced: instead of positioned more towards the rear, the hump is centered on the Maya; and its size compares more to the Atlantis Mini, being only slightly larger. Despite this, the Maya ends up even lighter at 47 g, while still resorting to an open-bottom design with an otherwise solid shell. In terms of internals, the Maya goes back to the mechanical switches from Huano (blue transparent shell, pink plunger) instead of the optical switches from RAESHA used for the Thorn. PixArt’s PAW3395 sensor capable of 26,000 CPI sees use again, and though restricted to regular 1000 Hz with the default dongle, the Maya can be upgraded to 4000 Hz and even 8000 Hz wireless polling by pairing it with the corresponding dongle. The feet are made of pure PTFE, and customization is possible within the software. The Maya is available in black, white, gray, or red.
