Lenovo has given the ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 9 and X1 Yoga Gen 6 a 16:10 display

Lenovo has thoroughly refreshed its premium business models ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 9 and ThinkPad X1 Yoga Gen 6. It is particularly noticeable that it is the first time 16: 10 – Displays received.
With this, Lenovo is turning away from previously used 16: 9 format from. The jump to 15: 10 is not quite as clear as the 3: 2 format, but this format is reserved for the new ThinkPad X1 Titanium Yoga for the time being. Lenovo emphasizes that the ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 9 and X1 Yoga Gen 6 have been completely redesigned. The touchpads should be even wider and the cooling concept should work more effectively. The battery capacity has been set to 57 Wh increased. Then there is the leap to Intel Core i7 vPro processors of the eleventh generation.
Both models can have a maximum of 32 GB LPDDR4x – 3210 MHz memory and a 2 TB Gen 4 PCIe SSD can be configured. At the 13 – Inch display are five or four options to choose from, including one UHD + option each. With the 2-in-1 model ThinkPad X1 Yoga Gen 6, all display options support touch. Two Thunderbolt 4 ports, two USB 3.2 Type-A ports, one HDMI 2.0 port and a combined headphone and microphone port are available. 4G and 5G are optional, WiFi 6 at least for the ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 9. While the ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 9 is a classically designed notebook from 1, 13 weighs kg, brings the convertible ThinkPad X1 Yoga Gen 6 at least 1, 39 kg on the scale.

Lenovo itself names US prices in the press release. The colleagues at Notebookcheck also found out prices in euros. Accordingly, the ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 9 should at least 1. 543 Euro, the ThinkPad X1 Yoga Gen 6 at least 1. 749 Euro. These prices do not yet include VAT.
