Minisforum presents EliteMini Box X400 with Renoir processor
Source: Hardware Luxx added 02nd Nov 2020The well-known manufacturer of ultra-compact PC systems Minisforum announced its new model EliteMini Box X 400 at. The mini-PC should score with its high performance and Ryzen 7 support. The predecessor still relied on Intel or NVIDIA. The customer has different configurations to choose from, each of which has different Ryzen 2000, Ryzen 3000 and Ryzen 4000 processors for Use.
The top model is the model with the Ryzen 7 Pro 4750 G. The APU consists of eight computing cores and has an integrated graphics solution of the type AMD Radeon RX Vega 8. The processor and graphics card are supplemented by a main memory with a clock frequency of up to 3. 200 MHz, which is accommodated in two SODIMM slots.
Numerous connections are available for storage media. An M.2 2280 – slot offers the possibility to install an SSD, whereby the slot has four PCIe 3.0 lanes is connected. An M.2 2242 port offers space for another SSD. A standard HDD for larger amounts of data can of course also be installed in 2.5-inch format. A microSD card slot is also on board.
A connection to the network is possible through two Gigabit Ethernet ports, a pre-installed Intel AX 200 – module also enables wireless connections. A 3.5 mm microphone input on the front as well as a line-in port, an additional microphone connection and a connection for speakers or headphones are available for sound output. The image is output via HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.4. Four USB 3.0 ports are also available.
The dimensions of the box are 15, 5 x 15, 24 x 5.1 cm, these are about larger than usual in the segment, but of course still very compact for a complete desktop solution. The EliteMini Box X 320 should come on the market this month, but it is still unclear whether this information also relates to a release in Germany. A price is currently not known.
