Montech, a newcomer in the DIY PC space, has been steadily expanding its presence since its inception in 2016. After entering the US market in 2019, the company has continued to reach more regions globally. As a new brand, Montech’s mission “to create a brand focused on engineering, design, quality, and reasonable pricing to better serve their consumers” has served them well, encouraging innovative thinking. This perspective has allowed Montech the flexibility to experiment, leading to new and unique products alongside more traditional options.
The Montech HyperFlow ARGB 240 is an AIO that looks to blend ARGB lighting, visual appeal, performance, and value into an intriguing entrant. Add in a six-year warranty, and you have a recipe for what could be a fantastic option in the crowded AIO space. The unit is feature rich with options many have now come to expect from high tier units such as the previously mentioned ARGB lighting, daisy-chained fans, and while it may not seem like a feature to some, it does not need a branded application to control its functions, instead opting for standard PWM control and motherboard based ARGB lighting control, thus keeping software bloat to a minimum.
