For a few minutes, several of the Google services have been experiencing problems and are inaccessible or with failed access. Services like Youtube, Gmail , Google’s educational platforms and their cloud services like Drive have stopped working.
The Google account service does not work
It seems that the failure is related to the google account system, since, for example, systems like Youtube work as long as we do not enter with our user account. Other services such as Gmail, which require identification with the Google account yes or yes, drive, Meets, Duo or Hangouts for example, cannot be used directly.
We can see in the DownDetector map, that most of the problems with Google are occurring in Europe However, there are also failures in Japan or countries in America among many others.
Problems have started from 13: 00 today, Spanish time, and currently they are still not fully resolved. Some services like Google Maps seem to have returned to normal, even with the Google account, although when accessing certain options the system displays an error.
- Upgrade 13: 35: It seems that the account service starts working and it is possible to log in with Google Drive, Maps or Gmail, although the service is not restored to 100%
