The Chinese Xiaomi and a subsidiary of the same group known as Poco have diverged to some extent and Poco has declared itself an independent brand instead of the Xiaom model series. Despite this, there are still strong similarities between the two brands from time to time. A good example of this is the Xiaomi Mi 10 T Lite and Poco X3 released in the autumn, which are in the middle price range. Despite the largely consistent design language, there are also differences between the phones, including system circuits, as the Xiaomi Mi 10 T Lite pulsates with Snapdragon 750 G, which enables 5G connections, and Inside the Poco X3, Snapdragon 732 G is happy with 4G connections. To offset the weaker scope of the article, the Poco X3 offers a starting price of EUR 269 which is clearly lower than Xiaom’s 349 recommended retail price.

Both novelty phones arrived at io-Tech’s test laboratory, and with the similarities found in them, we ended up testing them in a joint pair test, which reviews both the similarities and differences of the phones and compares them with other competition in the same Price Range.
