New reader test: Test the Arctic Freezer 50!

In cooperation with the Swiss cooling specialist, we are looking for three Hardwareluxx readers and community members to use the Arctic Freezer 50 put your system through its paces at home and would like to write a comprehensive review for our forum. The Arctic Freezer 50 was officially launched in mid-October and is especially for the new Ryzen – 5000 – processors of the AM4 platform, but also for numerous current Intel processors with LGA socket 1200, 115 x , 2066 and 2011 (- 3) thought. To cool such a processor, the tower cooler has a total of six, 6 mm thick copper heat pipes and of course a large number of aluminum fins, which are powered by two fans with a diameter of 120 and even 140 mm are supported. You work with 200 to 1. 800 revolutions per minute and should work particularly quietly.
Thanks to DirectTouch, the heat pipes lie directly on the processor, which promotes the absorption of waste heat. In order to keep up with the current trend, the Arctic Freezer 50 via integrated RGB lighting with 13 individually controllable LEDs, whereby these can be configured using common software tools from the mainboard manufacturers and automatically coordinated with other components. An A-RGB controller is also available for an additional charge. Overall, the tower cooler has a total weight of just under 1.2 kg and reaches dimensions of 148 x 149, 5 x 166 mm.
In the price comparison is the Arctic Freezer 50 from about 55 euros. With the A-RGB controller it is about 15 Euro more. Three of our readers can now test the CPU cooler free of charge in a reader test.

The application phase begins
As with every reader test, we start the application phase in advance. In the next two weeks you can be diligently knocking on the keys and writing an application – by 22. November is time. This should include all test criteria and the test system. Of course, a short description of the applicant should not be missing: What do you do for a living, what are your hobbies and how old are you? The question why you want to take part in the reader test with Arctic should also be answered briefly and crisply.
The Hardwareluxx editorial team will then select the lucky participants from all submissions. After receiving the samples, the testers have four weeks to post their reviews in the forum. The applications are simply posted in the comment thread of this news.
