Noctua is one of those companies in the industry that every computer enthusiast should know. The Austrian manufacturer has been available on the market for over 15 years, still offering efficient and insanely quiet CPU coolers and fans. However, many consumers rebounded from their offer. The first reason is relatively high prices, and the second is … colors. Noctua is known for its characteristic combination of beige and brown, which is eye-catching and difficult to match with other components. However, the Austrians have also been offering black CPU coolers for some time. Two more models have just joined the chromax.black series – Noctua NH-D 15 S and Noctua NH-U9S.

New Austrian CPU coolers are already on sale. The suggested prices are approximately PLN 415 for the Noctua NH-D model 15 S chromax.black and about 300 PLN for Noctua NH-U9S chromax.black.

Deepcool Assassin III cooling test – The new king of performance?

The official website of the manufacturer has two new, black CPU coolers from the chromax.black series, the first of which is the Noctua NH-D twin-turret 15 S with dimensions 160 x 150 x 135 (height x width x depth) millimeters and weight 1150 grams. Here we have an aluminum heat sink, six heat pipes and a copper base. One 670 – Noctua NF-A millimeter fan 15 HS-PWM from bearing SSO2 skim that runs at speeds from 300 to 1500 (+/- 10%) Airflow RPM to 140, 2 m³ / h and declared work culture to 24, 6 dB (A). Cooling is compatible with all newer and older Intel and AMD sockets (except TR4 socket).

The second model is definitely smaller. Noctua NH-U9S chromax.black is a cooler with dimensions of 125 x 95 x 95 millimeters and weight 618 grams. Once again, a richly ribbed aluminum heat sink and a copper base were used, although the number of heat pipes was limited to five. The fan is also smaller, because we are talking about 92 – a millimeter Noctua unit NF-A9 PWM with SSO2 bearing which offers a speed range from 400 to 2000 (+/- 10%) Airflow RPM to 78, 9 m³ / h and declared work culture to 22, 8 dB (A). Compatibility with Intel and AMD sockets remains unchanged. New representatives of the Noctua chromax.black series are already on sale. The suggested prices are 89, 90 Euro (approx. 415 for the Noctua NH-D model 15 S chromax.black and 64, 90 Euro (approximately 300 zlotys) for Noctua NH-U9S chromax.black. Both coolers are covered by a 6-year manufacturer’s warranty.
