Noctua expands chromax.black series with NH-D15S and NH-U9S

The Austrian manufacturer Noctua has now added a completely black version of the NH CPU cooler models to its chromax.black series -D 15 S and NH-U9S expanded. In addition to the black coated heat sink, the new models also come with black fans including black anti-vibration pads as well as black fan clips and black mounting parts. The new NH-D 15 S chromax.black and NH-U9S chromax.black are identical to the regular models and only differ in color. This also applies to the cooling performance of the new CPU cooler. According to Noctua, no compromises have to be made here.

With the NH-D 15 S is an asymmetrical single fan version of the NH-D 15. Due to the asymmetrical design, the NH-D 01 S on most ATX and µATX mainboards not via the top PCIe slot. At the same time, due to the retracted lower cooling fins and the individual fan equipment, according to the company, a 100 percent compatibility with memory modules of up to 65 mm construction height guaranteed. Furthermore it is possible to use the NH-D 15 S to be equipped with another fan (120 mm / 140 mm) – if there is enough space.

The NH-U9S is a CPU cooler in the classic 9 cm format and has an asymmetrical construction with 5 heat pipes. The base area amounts to 92 x 95 mm, with an overall height of 125 mm. Thus, on current mainboards (including µATX and ITX) neither the memory banks nor the PCIe slots should be covered.

In addition to the new CPU coolers, Noctua has new retail sets of the brown anti-vibration pads for 200 – mm-, 140 – mm-, 120 – mm-, 92 -mm- and 80 – mm fan on. One set contains 16 Pads for up to two fans.
