The Ristori decree establishes the disbursement of new grants for companies affected by health containment measures. The activities related to catering, wellness and culture

New ones will arrive in November non-repayable contributions , due to companies that have been penalized by the containment measures of the pandemic. The activities that have been most affected , i.e. companies operating in the catering sector, will receive the greatest aid , hospitality and sport and culture such as gyms, swimming pools, theaters and cinemas.

Non-repayable contributions in November: who is entitled to

The new Refreshments Decree recognizes a non-repayable grant for those businesses that have to close, such as gyms and wellness centers, or whose activity is limited, such as bars and restaurants. The audience is wide: the Minister of Economy Roberto Gualtieri affirms that the activities covered by the decree are “more than 300 thousand “. Not only does the number of beneficiaries change, but also the turnover limit within which it is possible to benefit from the bonus: in fact the 5 million euro ceiling is eliminated established by the previous Relaunch decree.

All affected activities will benefit from the contributions; recognition will be automatic for those establishments that opened after January 1st 2019 . The non-repayable contribution bonus requires that a be registered in April 2020 decrease in turnover equal to at least one third compared to April 2019.

Bonus for non-repayable contributions in the Refreshments Decree: what is due

The calculation of the bonus is identical to that provided for by the Relaunch decree, but the multiplicative percentages must be applied to it which vary from category to category. By way of example, for discos the amount will be equal to 400%; for restaurants, cinemas, theaters, gyms, swimming pools at 200%; for bars, ice cream shops, pastry shops at 150%. The maximum ceiling is in any case set at 150 thousand euros.

The new non-repayable contributions will be paid directly by the Revenue Agency to the current account of those who had already applied for the previous session; accreditation is expected to take place by mid-November . Companies that, on the other hand, have not benefited from the previous contribution bonus will be able to apply for it directly from the Revenue Agency website; in this case the timing is extended, but should not go beyond December.
