In just 3 days, the NVIDIA conference will take place, in which we will find out more details about the upcoming Ampere graphics cards. The main topic will be the presentation of mobile equivalents for laptops, although we also expect the announcement of the GeForce RTX 3060 from 12 GB of memory. Just before the GAME ON conference, which will start on Tuesday at 18 Polish time, a short announcement of this, what should we expect. The material finally confirms that the main topic will be RTX technology and new GeForce RTX cards 3000 for portable computers. The announcement reveals one more interesting thing that NVIDIA will bring to this year’s gaming and work notebooks.

NVIDIA has released a short announcement of the conference, which will take place next Tuesday. It confirms the upcoming release of GeForce RTX cards 3000 in laptops and support for the ReSize BAR function.

New test procedure for gaming laptops with Intel Tiger Lake-H, AMD Cezanne-H and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3000

The teaser is very short, lasting several seconds. However, you can see a fragment of the Founders Edition card casing with the inscription GeForce RTX – this may indicate the presentation of the RTX chip 3060 in the desktop version. Two shots are closely related to laptops – the first points to the notebook, while the second shows the ReSize BAR (Resizable BAR – Base Address Register) function, optimizing data transfer between the processor and the graphics card, resulting in easier and faster access to VRAM. The upcoming GeForce RTX cards 3000 for laptops will fully support this functionality.

The fourth shot in the announcement presents the game Outriders, produced by the Polish studio People Can Fly. The inclusion of the game logo in NVIDIA’s brief RTX announcement makes it clear that the game in question will receive support for Ray Tracing and possibly DLSS 2.0 as well. As for mobile GeForce RTX cards 3000, NVIDIA intends to present GeForce RTX 3060 with 6 GB memory (3072 CUDA, GA cores 106), GeForce RTX 3070 with 8 GB VRAM (5120 CUDA, GA 104 and GeForce RTX cores 3080 (6144 CUDA cores, full GA 104) – last cards will be offered with both 8 and 16 GB VRAM GDDR6.
