RTX performance leaked 3070 in the Ashes of Singularity game benchmark, placing it practically on par with the RTX 2080 Ti.

It is not the first time it is filtered the performance of this graph. Just yesterday we saw the performance of the RTX 3070 in the 3DMark benchmark, equaling and surpassing an entire RTX on numerous occasions 2080 Ti , a graphics card that was hard to see below the 1500 Euros until a few weeks ago. However, the RTX 3070, as announced by NVIDIA at its launch, would have a performance superior to this, starting from a price of 519 Euros. As global release day approaches, the 29 of October, leaks are more and more frequent, now comparing it with other models in Ashes of Singularity with different graphic quality settings.

From what we can see, the leak points to a performance similar to RTX 2080 Ti , exceeding it in some cases such as resolutions 1080 py 1440 py falling behind in 4K resolution .

The NVIDIA RTX 3070 in Ashes of Singularity is higher than RTX 2080 Ti except in 4K resolutions

Let’s remember that the RTX 2080 Ti has 12 GB of VRAM while RTX 3070 “only” with 8GB, which may explain the difference in performance in 4K, as these resolutions use a lot of graphics memory.
