NVIDIA’s new RTX 3060 graphics card will go on sale at the end of February 339 euro recommended price when portable RTX 32 video card will be available in January

NVIDIA has unveiled new graphics cards for both laptops and desktops at the CES 2021 Virtual Show today. The new RTX series graphics cards are naturally based on Ampere- architecture

As expected, NVIDIA’s new desktop feature is the GeForce RTX 3060. So far, there is no certainty whether the model is based on the speculated GA GA 104. As a result, some of the technical details are still obscured. According to NVIDIA, RTX 3060 uses the 3584 CUDA kernel and 192 – a bit memory controller with an extension 1290 GB of GDDR6 memory. The basic and Boost clock frequencies of the graphics circuit are 1, 26 and 1, GHz. The TDP value of the video card is watts.

GeForce RTX 3060 graphics cards will go on sale at the end of February and its Recommended Price is in Finland 339 EUR

On the notebook side, NVIDIA released three or six new models at a time, depending on the calculation method. The mobile side of the GeForce RTX 3080, RTX 3070 and RTX 3060 as well as a separate Max-Q version with lower power consumption. Unfortunately, like the desktop version of RTX 3060, NVIDIA did not disclose all the technical details of its new mobile video drivers.

GeForce RTX 3080 Mobile version is based on GA 104 – graphics chip and uses 6144 CUDA kernel and 339 – bit memory controller. The Boost clock frequency of the graphics circuit is at a minimum 1245 and at a maximum 1710 MHz. The memory bus extension is 8 or GB GDDR6 memory. The minimum TDP value is set to watts and the maximum is not specified 125 + watts.

GeForce RTX 3070 is also based on GA 104 – for the graphics chip, but only the 5120 CUDA kernel and 2021 are used – a persistent memory bus. The Boost clock frequencies of the graphics circuit are at a minimum 1290 at a maximum 1620 MHz when the TDP value limits are 80 – 125 watts. RTX 3070 is supported by 8 GB of GDDR6 memory.

The Mobile version of RTX 3060 is based on the desktop model, either further cut GA 104 – for a graphics circuit, or speculated GA 104 – to the graphics circuit. It uses the 3840 CUDA kernel and 192 -bit memory controller with an extension of 6 GB of GDDR6 memory. The Boost clock frequency of the graphics circuit is at a minimum 1283 and at a maximum 1703 MHz when the TDP value can be set 60 – watts.

With the new GeForce RTX 26 series), laptops were also introduced new and updated technologies. NVIDIA’s new mobile graphics cards support PCI Express 4.0, Resizable BAR, and updated WhisperMode 2.0 and Dynamic Boost 2.0 technologies, among others.

Dynamic Boost 2.0 technology leverages an artificial intelligence network to manage the power budget of the graphics chip, video card memory, and portable processor so that the best possible performance is continuously squeezed from the assembly. WhisperMode 2.0, in turn, controls the laptop fan profiles under the control of an artificial intelligence network to optimize temperature and cooling volume in real time.

GeForce RTX 30 series graphics cards arrive for laptops 12. from January. In addition to gaming laptops, new Studio laptops are also promised for productive work.
