The US manufacturer NZXT has now presented the seventh case of its CRFT models to the public. This is a series of licensed enclosures that are based on the design of selected games. The latest case is based on the Mass Effect published by the BioWares development studio. Said action-adventure series was first published by Microsoft Game Studios in 2007. From the year 2008 Electronic Arts took over the distribution of the title. Most recently, a new part of the series was released with Mass Effect: Andromeda in 2017. However, EA has now announced the Mass Effect Legendary Edition. This includes a revised version of the original Mass Effect trilogy.
The CRFT 07 is based on the H 510 i-case from NZXT and was inspired by the armor of the N7. The new case in the series is also strictly limited. The circulation of the CRFT 07 amounts to a total of 500 pieces. The carbon fiber design and the red and white stripes imitate the N7 armor from the game, according to the company. The scope of delivery also includes a trailer that can be attached to the housing from both sides. This means that all gamers can choose to display either the Paragon or Renegade symbols.
There is also a USB 3.1 Gen 2 compatible USB-C port at the frontline. The side panels are made of tempered glass. In addition, an all-steel construction is used. Users of water cooling are also able to install appropriate coolers thanks to a removable bracket. In addition, the new CRFT 07 has a pre-installed LED RGB strip and a fan controller. According to the manufacturer, the NZXT CAM software can be used for control. A corresponding cable management is also on board.
The new NZXT case is now available for a recommended retail price of around 200 euros.
