OnePlus began distributing the Android 11 update to its 8-series phones

OnePlus is one of the first phone manufacturers to offer an Android 11 update.

OnePlus has announced that it has begun distributing an Android 11 update to its OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro models released in the spring. The company is one of the first manufacturers to start officially distributing Android 11 as an update to its devices. Distribution of the update to phones began over the weekend and will be available in stages.

In addition to the updates introduced by the Android 11 version itself, the update also includes the latest 11 version of OnePlussa’s own OxygenOS interface. OnePlus says e.g. redesigned the interface and improved the distinctiveness of dark space objects, added the Always On Display feature, and updated the Game Space game features and Zen Mode,

In addition to the 8 models now released, the OxygenOS 11 update will also be available for all 7T, 7, 6T and 6 models, as well as the recently released Nord. Their Day
