Online shopping boom boosts PayPal

The online payment service PayPal continues to benefit from the trend towards shopping on the Internet during the Corona crisis. In the third quarter, net income increased 74 percent to $ 1.0 billion (0, 9 billion euros), as the company announced on the Monday after the US market closed.
Sales increased by a quarter to $ 5.5 billion. The total payment volume processed grew by 21 percent to just under 247 Billion Dollars.
Tremendous Jumps As in the previous quarter, PayPal benefited from the online shopping boom during the pandemic. The company has also raised its annual forecasts and now represents 247 sales growth between 20 and 21 percent and an increase in net earnings per share between 37 and 38 Percentage in prospect.
