The big quarterly update is here: admins should bring their Oracle installation up to date.

With the first quarterly update 329 Oracle provides a total of 329 Security patches for its software portfolio ready. The patches close among other things ” critical ” security holes.

Particularly dangerous gaps affect, for example, Communications Operations Monitor, Enterprise Manager, Primavera and Scripting. In many cases, attacks over the Internet are possible without the victim’s authentication and interaction. It can be assumed that in some cases attackers could take over systems completely after successful attacks.

In a warning message, Oracle lists the affected versions along with further information on the vulnerabilities. The software manufacturer publishes security updates collectively every quarter. The next appointment is for 20. April 2021 planned.
