Patriot releases new Viper Steel RGB memory modules

The US company Patriot has launched the new Viper Steel DDR4-RGB series under the brand name Viper Gaming presented. Said RGB series comes from the Viper Steel series and is available in the speeds 3200 MHz and 3600 MHz. Different modules are offered for capacity. The new RAM from Patriot can be purchased as an 8, 16 and 32 GB module. In addition, dual-channel kits with a maximum capacity of 64 GB (2 x 32 GB) are offered. According to the manufacturer, all modules are tested by hand. In addition, the new series is said to have been optimized for both Intel and AMD Ryzen platforms. According to the company, the new Viper RAM is therefore also suitable for enthusiasts due to the XMP 2.0 support.

In addition, the design of the heatspreader has been revised. These are made of aluminum and coated black. The RGB light bar embedded on the top of the heaspreader has 5 RGB zones and supports the latest applications from ASUS Aura Sync, GIGABYTE RGB Fusion 2.0, MSI Mystic Light Sync and ASROCK Polychrome Sync RGB.

All modules come with a limited, lifetime warranty and are available immediately, according to Patriot. However, these are currently not yet found in the range of well-known retailers. Patriot did not provide any information on the recommended retail price. The manufacturer only speaks of prices in line with the market.
