The Philips PH 805 noise canceling headphones offer a whole lot for half the price of a high-end model. At least, that was the thrust of our review. But we also wanted to know what our readers think of these headphones. That is why we wrote a Philips Home Test a few months ago, of which we can now share the resulting reviews.

Philips PH 805 The PH 805 is one of the first Philips headphones to appear after the audio department license moved to TP Vision, the people who have been building excellent televisions under the Philips flag for a number of years. However, these headphones have been developed internally and want to score by doing what Philips always did in the audio field: for a reasonable price, yet offering a lot of quality. The price tag of just under 180 euro is therefore a bit lower than the top models in terms of noise-canceling headphones from the competitors. What is the performance for that price tag?
