Porsche Design Huawei Watch GT 2, sports car inspired design and materials

Porsche Design Huawei Watch GT 2 features a titanium body that pays homage to the German manufacturer’s high-speed supercar design. The bezel, with the iconic Porsche Design logo integrated across the top, is incorporated into the watch face, while the link strap is machined from titanium with special sandblasting to provide a matte appearance, and uses a quick-attach system through a Huawei titanium buckle.

According to what was declared by the manufacturer during the presentation, the materials used and the design of the watch not only give a “premium and mature” appearance, but also great protection against scratches both with daily use, both with all outdoor activities. Two digital crowns present, sporting the iconic red circle of Porsche Design: with a light pressure, users can easily explore the various settings and configurations.

The watch faces Porsche Designs are clearly customized to remind the Stuttgart brand on the one hand, and to be sharp and clear even with a quick glance. The E-Pure watch face, on the other hand, features a minimalist look that brings the traditional analog dial into the digital age, while the racing-inspired lines of motorsport displayed on the back of the Porsche Design Huawei Mate 40 RS are transferred from the smartphone to the racing watch face, paying homage to the brand’s sports car DNA and history racing. There is clearly a specific dial with integrated stopwatch, which can be started with a single press on the watch.

As we have already said for the traditional version, even the Porsche Design model can boast a respectable autonomy, with two weeks of battery life guaranteed by the manufacturer. Several functions related to fitness: the smartwatch supports data tracking for over 100 training modes, including indoor and outdoor sports such as golf driving ranges, skiing and mountaineering, among others. It is also water resistant to depths of 50 meters, and can also help with watersports.

Updated proprietary TruSeen 4.0+ technology and a 6-in-1 LED lens installed on the delicate ceramic back of the watch ensure continuous heart rate monitoring, while the various built-in sensors offer the possibility to access a complete health analysis 24 hours on 24 with heart rate, stress levels, sleep quality and SpO2 levels.
